When you partner with us, you become part of a strong circle of support. As an agency partner, you’ll gain access not only to a wide selection of nutritious food, but also to best practices training, guidance to ensure your program meets food safety standards, and advocacy efforts on behalf of those facing hunger.

Ready to Take the Next Step?

Here’s what you need to know about our application and onboarding process:

  1. Service Area
    Your organization must be located within one of the following 11 counties we serve: Cullman, Colbert, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, or Morgan County.

     

  2. Eligibility
    Applying organizations must be either a church or a nonprofit with a valid 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS.

     

  3. Application
    Download and complete the Agency Application. Once submitted, our team will review it and contact you with the status.

     

  4. Site Visit
    If your application is approved, we’ll schedule a visit to your facility. This inspection ensures food safety standards are met and allows us to discuss the specific needs of your program.

    Please note: To allocate resources fairly, applications may be placed on a waitlist in regions with a high number of active agency partners.

     

  5. Orientation
    You and your key staff or volunteers will attend our Partner Feeding Program Orientation, held monthly. Orientation includes:
    • An overview of the Food Bank
    • Food safety training
    • Best practices for managing a charitable food program

       

  6. Partnership Approval
    After completing all steps, your organization will be approved to source food from the Food Bank of North Alabama as an official Agency Partner.
