How It Works

The Market operates on a first-come, first-served basis during open hours, while supplies last. Shoppers can walk through the aisles and select from a variety of available foods, including:

  • Fresh fruits and vegetables

  • Frozen proteins and dairy products

  • Shelf-stable pantry items

This model gives families the freedom to choose the foods that fit their household needs and cultural preferences—promoting both nourishment and dignity.

The Vernon Market is part of FBNA’s mission to feed the hungry today and create solutions to end hunger tomorrow.

Through this direct-distribution site, we help ensure that healthy food reaches neighbors who may not have access to traditional pantries or transportation to larger partners.
